Looking back on my last two years of high school and my time spent at the HACTC, I’m sad to see it coming to an end. I was welcomed into the HACTC with open arms and smiling faces. I couldn’t have made a better decision choosing to come to the HACTC to be a part of the Health Sciences program. I’ve had many opportunities I wouldn’t have had if I didn’t make that decision. Being able to learn and be around others who also have the same interests as you makes learning better. It’s like I’ve gained a second family, everyone wants what’s best for you and will help you no matter what, they want you to succeed. During my first year at HACTC I had no clue what I wanted to do. Being able to go out on Co-ops and shadow at different places my senior year has really helped me figure out what career path I want to follow. If I didn’t come to the HACTC I wouldn’t have the background or experience I have today. Next year I will be taking a gap year to work, after my gap year I will be going to college for forensic psychology.
